Before the Websites, There Were Portraits
Portrait art is not a side note in the story. It is where the habit of close observation and building from a blank surface started.
I was a portrait artist before websites became the main canvas.
A portrait teaches you that seeing is not passive. You have to decide which details carry the subject, which can disappear, and what the finished work should make another person notice.
That habit followed me into websites. Search data is not a face, and a server log is definitely less charming than a face, but the work still begins with observation. Look closely. Find the signal. Build around what matters.

This page is deliberately quiet in the first release. A selected archive of original portrait work will be added when the artwork and its factual details are ready. I am not filling the space with stock images or pretending an art archive exists before it does.
