Contextual Linking
A link placed where its surrounding copy explains the real relationship and gives the destination a useful reason to be visited.
Contextual linking tells a reader why another property, page, or source matters. The words around the link carry meaning that a bare domain list cannot.
More links are not automatically better. Across a portfolio, artificial sitewide cross-linking can weaken the clarity each property is meant to create.
